TRUE METAL STAGE

Bruce Dickinson

The band line-up for the Dickinson festival gigs 2002 is an interesting hybrid of Skunkworks and Sack Trick with Bruce on vocals, Alex Dickson and Pete Friesen on guitar, Chris Dale on bass and Robin Guy on drums. Not bad at all, but we do miss Roy Z. on the guitars. He just brings something extra to the table. But hey, watching the charismatic Dickinson at Wacken still is a great thing to do! No matter what stage in what country, he just sets the fucking thing on fire.

Here's the setlist: "Silver Wings", "Back From The Edge", first Maiden track "Revelations", "Accident Of Birth", "Darkside Of Aquarius", "The Tower", the dramatic "Tears Of The Dragon", "Laughing In The Hiding Bush", "Innerspace", "Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter" and in the encore "Tattooed Millionaire", "The Prisoner", "Powerslave" and in the 2nd encore the traditional "Delilah". Great show from a great musician. Hopefully he'll record another great solo album like "The Chemical Wedding". That would be wonderful.
